ONE ART

One song I love + one piece of art that goes along

I'm inspired in witnessing the devine inspiration in musicians and artists

Grateful Dead - Mission in the Rain (6/12/76) - Road Trips 4.5

The addition of several tracks from the 12th round out the final RT quite nicely.

Not sure why the Dead didn’t stick with Mission (played only six times, though Jerry played it with his band consistently to the end); here they acquit themselves convincingly on it.  One of my personal favorites in the Hunter/Garcia canon.

A new tune for ‘76 and a beauty indeed, from Garcia’s Reflections album (out in February of this year).

There’s some satisfaction, in the San Francisco rain….
